I think maths is not my cup of tea. But to all those maths geeks who embark on solving above problem then they should help my bro Sam…LoL http://posterpie.com/go-ahead-dude/
I think some professors pride themselves in people doing poorly on their tests, so they make them as hard as possible so people will struggle. Especially calculus teachers.
Your ‘in class’ and ‘homework’ equations are right on, but the exam would be more like: Explain how Maxwell’s equations and Minkowski spacetime helped Stephen Hawking prove that Black Holes aren’t black. Show your work.
whoever made this doesn’t understand sixth grade math. I appreciate the sentiment but I’m guessing that they’re having trouble on the exam because they don’t know how math works.
I think this cartoon is not only about maths and calculation but its a general feeling for every subject exam. Also the equation 2nd and 3rd may not be difficult by themselves but they are definitely tough for somebody who is taught 2+2 in class.
Thumbs up for the cartoon
actualy teaching maths and learning maths is different.
so posterpie wants to tell that there should be good cummunication required among teacher and their students.
Those aren’t even real math problems. The “homework” one is impossible, unless the X is a multiplication symbol, because then the answer is 237. The last one can’t be solved, because if that X really is a multiplication symbol, it can’t be cubed.
Wow guys maths is not difficult but need to practice and have that faith on doing your work and people take grade 12 as a stuff grade but its not diff but need you to face

Thats completely true for my son. Now I know why is maths so tough for him in his 10th grade
Um, the last problem wasn’t hard?
Damn! WTF is that comma doing in the exam equation?
@Steve Jr.: That comma denotes the units. It is 9 hundred 82 thousand 5 hundred 23. You should know at least this much Mathematics!

the second two aren’t solvable…..
I feel exactly the same in the exam, truly! Don’t you feel that way too
the second one is too solvable. thats a multiplication symbol not a variable dipsh@t

considering the “V/S” for versus and the “Why is exam so difficult” (no “the”, no question mark), i think math may not be this person’s only problem

maths exam is not difficult if good guidance is provided

Wow… it’s for people like you that this post should be called the ‘nerd magnet’…. nerd! Lay down your Maths for a while and enjoy the humour in hand.
